Victor M. Umanzor-Amaya

February 18, 2001 — October 25, 2020

Indianapolis, IN

Victor M. Umanzor-Amaya, known as NUNU, was born in Washington, D.C on February 18, 2001. He departed from this earth on October 25, 2020 at 09:18 pm at the location of Massachusetts Avenue in Indianapolis, IN due to a car crash. That day two other young lives were also sadly cut short. Now him and those two young lives will be able to sit in God’s hands and watch over and pray for their loved ones from heaven.

Victor was grown man physically with the heart of a child. Always playing with his siblings, nephew and his basketball. He was the first born son out of four. He left us when he was only nineteen years old. His parents Rubia Amaya and Luis Umanzor had many beautiful children. Victor had two sisters, one brother and a nephew. His passing left us with a heavy heart.

Victor was a mama’s boy! Every conversation with his mother and father would last several hours. His laughter could light up a room full of people, Victor always had something funny to say. Spicy food challenges were an everyday thing. Victor had many friends who he considered family, and through out that time they became our family too.

Who was Victor? Victor was a natural born leader, always taking charge. He was so kind, respectful, and caring with his loved ones. Even though he looked very outgoing he was a very humble hearted person. If you were lucky enough to see beyond that hidden door, you would see how great and loving he truly was. A big smile would fill Victor’s face every time he saw each and every person present here today.
