Terri Lynn Nobles was born to Roosevelt and Mary Nobles on October 29, 1959 at Coleman’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She received Christ at an early age. Terri was baptized by the late Rev. Alexander Bernard at Greater St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. Terri was a proud member of GSMMB Church under the current leadership of Pastor Joy L. Thornton. She wanted everyone to know how much she loved her church family and they loved her in return.
She attended Indianapolis Public School # 69 and graduated from Broad Ripple High School. Terri also attended Ivy Tech Community College and Clark College. She worked many years as a Nurse’s Assistant at Hooverwood Nursing Home. She also worked as a Teacher’s Assistant and Operator at M.C.I. When her health started to fail, that did not stop Terri she became an Avon Representative until she could no longer work.
Terri Lynn Nobles departed this life on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the age of 60. Her grandparents, Green & Evelyn Phelps and Willie & Mary Nobles; father, Roosevelt Nobles; aunt, Earline Campbell; fiancé, Frederick D. Anthony “Sonny Man” and God-daughter/niece, Crystle Hatcher all preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her mother, Mrs. Mary Nobles; three children: Kellita Morgan (Sam), JaMarkus L. Nobles “Yogi” and Damawn M. Nobles (LaTiesha); grandchildren: Tyler R. Nobles, Jeremiah Morgan, Terri L. Nobles, William Morgan and Shamari Nobles; sisters, Elander Shorter (Arthur) and Toni Hatcher; special cousin/sister, Tina Dean Prince; ex-husband, Willie Lake; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
