Stephen Timothy Jones

Stephen Timothy Jones, age 65 passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Stephen was the youngest of thirteen children born to Johnny and Maize Jones of Lynch Kentucky.He attended East Main High School in Lynch, and proudly served in the US Army in Fort Knox, Kentucky. He was employed as an orderly at Martin Luther King Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. He also worked in the construction industry in Kentucky and for the Carlstead Construction Company here in Indianapolis. He loved to move around to see and do new things. He has worked and lived in New York, California, Ohio, Florida and Indiana.'Tim' as he was affectionately known, married Marilyn Sanders on December 1, 2001. He accepted Christ as his personal savior and was a member of Greater Light Church of God in Christ.Stephen Timothy Jones 'Tim' is survived by his wife, Marilyn Jones of Tampa, FL, two sons, Steven Berry of Lexington, KY and Brandon Hall of Portsmouth, OH and one grandson, Steven Berry, III. One brother Harold (Margie) Jones of Cumberland, KY, four sisters; Sallie Jones and Gloria (Wendell) Milan of Indianapolis, IN, Olivia (James) Sims and Juanita (Herman) Daniels of Perris, CA and one sister-in-law, Louise Jones of Cumberland, KY and a host of other beloved family members and many friends who will always remember him.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2nd from 11am - 1pm at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals-LBJ Chapel 5811 E. 38th Street. Funeral service will follow at 1pm.
