Stephanie Louise Flynn

Stephanie L. Jones Flynn (G-Mom) - was born May 24, 1948 to the late Lewis Jones and Barbara I. Davis. She attended Wood grade school and graduated from Shortridge High. Stephanie accepted Christ at an early age at Trinity CME Church. She was active in Sunday school, the Christian Youth Fellowship, The Youth Choir, Food Pantry, and she was a member of the Stewardess Board. Stephanie worked for Ft. Benjamin Harrison from 1982-2010 when she retired. She moved to Dallas, Texas for over 10 years and returned to her home church in 2021. She loved sewing, crocheting, traveling, and playing cards with her friends in her apartment community. Stephanie loved her church members and having long conversations with them. She loved her family and attended her family reunion every year. She loved having her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren around. Every year the family would celebrate Christmas breakfast with her. She departed this life, Tuesday, January 2nd at the age of 75.She was preceded in death by brother Stephen Jones, and sister Yvonne Bayless. She leaves to cherish her memory: Stephen R., Rene A., Shalanda M. Flynn and Stephanie E. (Flynn) Kirksey (Christopher). Grandchildren Dariel Horton, Shanice Harvey (Darell, Sr.), Cortney Flynn, Stacia Murry, Noori Ashford, and Audrey Flynn, and five great-grandchildren. Sister Terri Davis and Robin Brown and brother Willie Davis, Jr. (Marleny). And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends
