Sheila Monae (Jones) Warfield

Sheila Monae (Jones) Warfield was born December 2, 1953 to Richard Lee Jones and Alice M. (Griffie) Jones in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Sheila received Christ at a young age and was baptized at Grace Apostolic Church in 1967.

She worked for the Department of Transportation for many years before going back to school at Butler University where she majored in journalism and became a straight- A student and a “teacher’s pet.”

Sheila would again get adventurous and go to trucking school where she learned how to drive 18 wheelers and traveled all over the United States with her friend, Larue Perry. She worked for the Washington Township school district as a route planner and coordinator for many years and would eventually transition to Pike Township as a school bus driver before retiring. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Sheila Monae Warfield left this earth on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the age of 66.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Emery and Corvett and her father, Richard Jones.
Sheila leaves to cherish her memory to her daughter, Kelly M. Warfield; mother, Alice M. Jones; sister, Kim Walston; brother, Marcus Jones (Gayle); her only niece, Alyssa Walston; nephews, Nathan Walston and Corvett Jones Jr.; and a host of family and friends.
