Robbie Lee Pullen was born April 3,1935 to loving mother Hattie Mae Goff (Dec.) and father Robert Allen Pullen(Dec.) in Columbia Tennessee. Four years later, the family was blessed withRobbie's brother, Joseph 'PeeWee' Goff. Robbie was raised in the way of theLord, as her father was a preacher, and she professed a hope in Christ early inher life.
Sheattended Carver-Smith High School in Columbia until she married Odell Flippin(dec.) and started a family at the age of 16. This union was blessed with 6children: Darrell B. (Dec.), Shela D. (Dec.), Venita D., Jeffrey L. (Dec.),Michael R. (Dec.) and finally Sherry A. The family relocated to Indianapolis,Indiana in the early 1960's. Robbie then completed her high school coursework,taking night classes at Broad Ripple High School, where she graduated as valedictorian.She went on to earn her associates degree in nursing at Indiana UniversitySchool of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse until retirement in theearly 2000's.
Robbie enjoyed church, listeningto the blues, bowling, playing cards and most of all spending time with herfamily. Robbie was a strong and caring matriarch of her family which grew toinclude five generations living, until her death on Tuesday morning, September27, 2016.
