Richard D. 'Rick' Jones

Richard David Jones was born November 16, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana. His parents Mildred Robinson Jones and Edward Jones and his son, Richard David Jones II, preceded him in death (Ricky) Ric affectionally known as to his friends, had joined Trinity C.M.E. church 2006.(Ricky) Ric joined True Vine Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. (Ricky) Ric attendedPublic School 38 and Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Richard (Ricky) Ric, united in holy matrimony in 2006 to Debra E. Roberts (Debbie) until his death, they had eleven wonderful years together. The both of them together brought two families together as one. Richard was employed at Eskenazi Health for 10 years in Environmental Services, He was a dedicated employee and loved all the jobs that he held throughout his lifetime. He loved working. Laughingly, he was often called a workerman.
Richard (Ricky) Ric, had many enjoyments .He loved football, having family events, wrestling, and being at the drag races every year. Those were his passions. Him and Debbie would take trips out of town on occasions. This is what they loved to do together when they were able.. He loved being around family most of all especially his grandchildren. He spoiled them rotten.
Richard (Rickey) Ric, leaves to cherish his memory is his wife Debra Roberts-Jones, His sons odney and Daryl Jones, Eric Harris, daugthers, Shakelah Jones and Erica Hamilton, Sisters Geraldine White and Estelle Jones and brothers Kenneth Jones & Richard Harwell. Stepsons Jesse Mathes and Anthony Roberts, nieces Joyce Snorton, Terri Taylor and Kenyeta Jones and nephew Michael Stanley. His sister-in-laws, Joyce Roberts-Anderson and Kathy Roberts, and a host of other family and friends.

A Visitation was held at Trinity CME Church 2253 Dr. Andrew J. Brown Ave. Indianapolis IN 46205 at 10:00:00 AM on 9/16/2017.

A Celebration of Life was held at Trinity CME Church 2253 Dr. Andrew J. Brown Ave. Indianapolis IN 46205 at 12:00:00 PM on 9/16/2017.
