Mr. RC Martin 'C Biscuit', age 66 passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016.RC was born in Drew, Mississippi to the late Solomon and Louise Martin, the youngest of 5 siblings. As a young man, RC attended T.Y. Fleming Middle School in Minter City, MS until he became of age and had to work the family farm with his father and older siblings to support the family. RC was baptized at the age of 11 in Drew, MS at New Light MBC. At the age of 18 he moved to Indianapolis where he secured employment working at Mechanics Laundry, and later at Indiana Asphalt as a Heavy Equipment Operator, a field in which he excelled.RC touched many lives with his out-going personality. His presence in any room would instantly change the dynamics of that room. He loved his music and loved watching cowboy movies. Mr. RC Martin 'C Biscuit', leaves to cherish his memory his companion and the love of his life; Mary Phelps, brother; TC & Shirley Martin (Greenville, MS), 2 sisters; Girty Balentine and Mable & Charles Shipp (all of Detroit, MI) and many other beloved immediate and extended family members and friends.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9th from 11am until 12 Noon at Grace Missionary Baptist Church 1501 N. College. Funeral service will follow at 12 Noon.Interment will be in New Crown Cemetery.
