Raymond Udell Allen, III. age 44, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016. Raymond, affectionately know as 'Big Man', was born in Indianapolis, IN. He was nurtured in a Christian home and joined the fellowship of believers at an early age.Raymond began his education at St. Andrews Catholic School in Indianapolis, and later attended Tri-City High School in Atlanta, GA.Raymond was a hard-working man. Most recently he was employed with QRL working with adults who needed assistance with daily living activities. He was well loved by all of his clients.Raymond was also an avid sports fan. He diligently followed the Dallas Cowboys, the Carolina Panthers as well as several prominent basketball teams.Raymond had a strong zest for life. He always lived by the golden rule....'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' His jovial character, loving ways, and beautiful smile will be remembered by everyone who met and knew him.Raymond leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Joanetta Seats (Charles Sanders aka 'Bopie') of Atlanta, GA; father, Raymond Udell Allen, Jr.; son, Raymond Johnson; fiance' Katrina Johnson; two step-sons, four step-sisters; maternal grandmother , Jeanetta Torrence; six aunts, five uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23rd from 9am - 11am at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals 5811 E. 38th Street. Funeral service will follow at 11am. Interment will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
