Ralph Clinton King departed this life on February 6, 2023, at 4:50pm at the age of 89. Ralph was the fifth child born to Thomas Green and Hazel Adams-King on October 23, 1933, in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Ralph enlisted in the US Army on June 2, 1952, at the age of 17. He served in the Korea War with the 2nd and 3rd Infantry Division as an Artillery Commo Specialist. He received an honorable discharge on February 3, 1958. Ralph was a life member of the VFW.
Throughout his life, Ralph worked as a guard at General Hospital, Pendleton Reformatory, Western Electric, and Indiana Women’s Prison.
He was a member of Covenant Community Church and sang in the choir. Ralph was a spiritual man and loved the Lord.
Ralph loved his family, sports, movies (especially a good western), good BBQ, and gospel music (particularly James Cleveland).
