R. T. Crutcher

Mr. R.T. Crutcher 'The Cymbals Man', age 89, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016.R.T. was born in Olive Branch, Mississippi. He accepted Christ as his Lord and personal Savior, uniting with New Day Pentecostal Church. He was employed with and retired from Perry Meridian High School as a lead custodian. He offered his custodial services to the Greenwood Bowl and Plainfield Lanes. He was skilled in construction and laid foundation all across the city.He was one of thirteen siblings, whom all but one preceded him in death. His wife, Evg. Fannie Pearl Crutcher, son R.L. Crutcher and daughter Patty Jean Crutcher all preceded him in death. He loved to fish, hunt and was no stranger to anyone. He blessed our lives immensely and will be greatly missed.Deacon Crutcher leaves to cherish his memories; sister, Delia Kyle; two daughters Ms. Earlene Hutcherson, Dorothy Jean Hayes (Greg); grandchildren, Tracy Bradley (Rory), Toya Watkins, Angela Crutcher, Sheronda White (Jessze), Gregory Hayes, Jr., Antwone Hayes, Rontay Hayes; sixteen grandchildren and eleven great, great-grandchildren. Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27th from 10am until service time of 12 noon at New Day Pentecostal Church, 1058 Miley Ave. Interment will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
