Patricia A Williams was born November 25,1947 in Chicago, Il.
She was the second born child to Manuel and Rosie Blue.
She graduated from Hookway Elementary and Calumet High school.
After graduating from high school she was employed by her uncle at Crown Driving School. She was also employed by University of Chicago, T.W.A and Flying Tigers. Due to the merger with Flying Tigers and Fed Ex, she eventually retired from Fed-Ex as an International Shipping Agent on January 19, 2013.
It was at Flying Tigers where she met Thomas E. Williams and fell deeply in love. They were joined in marriage on October 22, 1988 in Columbus, OH.
Tom and Pat accepted the transfer from Fed-Ex to relocate to Plainfield, In. August 7, 1989. Upon the transfer Thomas and Patricia saw spiritual growth by adding their membership to Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church for 6 faithful years. She was baptized during that time by Pastor Roosevelt Sanders.
By hearing the Lord's call they moved their membership to St. John's Missionary Baptist Church Pastored by Reverend Doctor Phillip L. Shobe. Under his leadership , Thomas and Patricia grew closer to the Lord by Patricia being called to be a Sunday school teacher, assistant church clerk, Deaconess, choir member and a faithful member of bible study. She assisted her husband Deacon Thomas Williams in a nursing home ministry for almost 20 years. She also assisted him in taking out communion to the homebound.
On December 23 at 6:01 pm, she stayed the course and fought a good fight. After 3 years with stage 4 cancer, she surrendered her fight by God calling out to her 'Well done my good and faithful servant you were faithful over a few things; I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.' And he called her home from her faithful service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Rosie Blue and her siblings Emanuel (JR), Kenny, Cynthia (Stooky) and George (Doody).
Patricia leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband Deacon Thomas E.
