Ollie Lee Benberry

Ollie Lee Benberry was born on March 6, 1936 in Grand Rivers, Kentucky to Andrew Thomas and Mary Francis (Haley) Benberry. He received his education at Oakland Elementary School in Grand Rivers, KY.

Ollie was the second oldest of ten children. He had three brothers and six sisters. In his spare time Ollie enjoyed playing cards, working in the yard and spending quality time with his family.

On June 10, 1967, Ollie was joined in Holy Matrimony with his wife, Gracie L. (Murry) Benberry and together they shared two children and 55 years of marriage.

Ollie worked for General Motors as a dedicated employee for 48 years, until his retirement.

Ollie Lee Benberry departed this life on Saturday February 26, 2022, at the age of 85 years. His parents, brothers and a son preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Gracie Benberry; daughters, Regina Holt and Dana Benberry; son Darin Benberry Sr.; sisters: Monzola Harper, Eva Moody, Barbara Harding (Basil), Brenda Rhodes and Lillian Frye (David); six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
