Nora Bond O'Bannon

Mrs. Nora Bond O'Bannon, age 80 passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016.Nora was born in Campbellsville, KY to the late Arthur and Frankie Sanders.She professed a hope in Christ at an early age, and upon moving to Indianapolis, joined New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in 1952. She graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in 1953, attended Poro Beauty and Barber College and later became a licensed Instructor in 1958.Nora was employed at Larue Carter Memorial Hospital retiring in 1995 after 35 years of dedicated service. Nora leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Saundra E. Thomas and Kim L. O'Bannon, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20th from 10am until 12 Noon at New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, 130 W. 29th Street. Funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
