Lil Mike loved to be surrounded by family and friends and he was always the life of the party. He was a wonderful person who positively impacted those around him. He was a sickle cell survivor, and despite his illness, he lived life to the fullest. He was involved in giving back to the community through various organizations and fundraisers. He had a passion for traveling, music, shopping, and debating.
Lil Mike’s departure on June 7th, 2023, at the age of 33, is undoubtedly a great loss. His aunt Hazel Minton, grandmother Linda Hess, and cousin Dewayne Butts preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his wife Shalonda Tucker-Hess; daughters Za’Ryah Hess, Zy’Aire Hess & Mi’Chaela Tucker-Hess; mother Stephanie Minton; father Michael Hess; brothers Devon Hess and Desmond Hess; sisters Sasha Minton, Mikia Hess, Jayda Hess, and Journee Avila; grandmother Cannie Minton; aunts Beatrice Bralock, Judy Butts, Monica Butts, Carlene Taylor, Alberta Heath, Sharon Hess, Melissa Hess, Kimberly Hess, and Kristy Hess; uncle Tony Evans; mother in law Jacqueline Keys; father in law Willie Tucker II; sister in laws Adrianne Fennell, Lachecia Williams, and Jasmine Tucker-Frierson; brother in laws Willie Tucker III, William Tucker, Windell Tucker, and Nolan Tucker, and host of nieces nephews, cousins & friends.
