Michael Lamont Fletcher "Big Mike"

Michael Lamont Fletcher was born March 3, 1976 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Anna Fletcher and Casey Jones. He received his education in the Indianapolis Public Schools.

He worked in the lawncare business and took great pride in his landscaping. Mike also worked in construction for many years.

Big Mike, as he was affectionately called, was a very loving and kind person. He would do anything asked of him, including giving the shirt off his back. He would not hurt a soul and was often described as a “gentle giant”.

He loved to listen to music and tried to rap. He was a momma's boy, always wanting to be around his mother. And if he could not be around her, he would talk to her on the phone daily. He will always be remembered and loved.

Michael Lamont Fletcher departed this life on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the age of 48 years.

Mike leaves behind to cherish his loving memories: mother, Anna Fletcher; sister, Sharee Dickson (Isaac Sykes); brothers: James Moss, William Robertson (Marion House) and Deon Fletcher; aunt, Jeannie Mack; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, loving family and friends.
