Michael Eugene Dudley

Michael Eugene Dudley passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016.Michael was born in Indianapolis to Helen (Dudley) Sanford. He received his education in the Indianapolis Public Schools and graduated from Wood High School.He was Veteran of the US Army where he served his country for two years from 1974 - 1976.Michael was member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and he was very active in his community where he faithfully volunteered to help out in the outreach programs throughout the city.Michael was an outstanding and dedicated employee of United Parcel Service where he was a faithful worker for 15 years. He was known for his loving kindness by family and friends and will be dearly missed by all. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Michael S. Dudley, Jr. and Maurice A. Dudley; nine grandchildren, two brothers, Brian Penman and George Dudley; two sisters, Tanya Walker and Janice Sanford and a host of loving family and friends.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22nd from 9am - 10:30 am at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3500 N. Graceland Ave. Funeral service will immediately follow at 11am.Interment will be in Marion National Cemetery - Marion, IN.
