Mary Helen Lane

Mary Helen Lane, age 76, passed away at home in Indianapolis on Saturday, March 5, 2016.She was a loving, dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Willis Lane, Jr. in 2002, and her devoted daughter, Patricia Adams in 2003. Mary was a longtime member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church and choir for 33 years. Mary was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. The world is a better place because she was here.She is survived by her children; Willis, Larry, Roderick, Randy, Andy and Gary Lane. Daughters; Harriet Coleman and Anissa Lane. Twenty-three grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, loving church family and many, many friends.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12th, from 10am untill service time of 12 noon at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals 5811 E 38th St. Interment will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
