Mary Alice Joiner

Mary Alice Joiner departed this life to be with the Lord on Friday, August 9, 2013. She was born on October 19, 1951 in Minter City, Mississippi. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Fred Edward Joiner in 1991. Mary was a well known cook, a very great mother, a good friend and a great grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memory to her children: Valerie Jackson, Sondra (Wisly) MeMe, Frednanza Jackson, Mary Joiner, Erica Joiner and Eric Joiner; 13 grandchildren,brother; Jessie Jackson; three special friends, and a host of cousins, other family and loving friends who will all miss her. Family and Friends Visitation Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Lavenia & Summers Home for Funerals 5811 East 38th Street Indianapolis, IN 46218. Funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm. Interment will be at the In God IN Christ Cemetery in Batesville, MS.
