Marva Ann Hardy

Marva Ann (Tibbs) Hardy, age 72, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016.Marva was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, the only child of William and Dorothy Tibbs.Marva attended Indianapolis Public Elementary Schools and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School. She gave her life to the Lord at a young age.Marva married Willis 'Bunn' Hardy and raised Willis' three younger siblings. Because of her desire to love, nurture, and make a difference in the lives of children, Marva became a foster parent and while still fostering, made the choice to become the adoptive parent of five girls. To all who knew her, Marva's children were her life and her life's work. Her favorite pass times were sewing, working puzzles and playing board games.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 11am until 12 noon at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals-Chapel of Faith 5811 E. 38th Street.Funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
