Mark Earl Sommerville

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mark E. Sommerville, age 21, of Bloomington, IN, on December 3, 2024. Mark was the beloved son of Antonette McCaster, Indianapolis, IN, brother to Danielle Strickland and Anthony Sommerville both of Fort Wayne, IN. Grandson of Earl (Emma) McCaster, Elkhart, IN, Essie McCaster, Indianapolis, IN and Francine Sommerville Bostice, Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his loving father, Trevon Sommerville and grandfather Alvin Sommerville and grandfather, CJ Bostice.

Mark was a hardworking and dedicated employee at Cook Polymer where he had been a valued member of the team since finishing high school. He brought a kind spirit to his workplace and was loved by all who knew him.

In his personal life, Mark was passionate about anime, enjoyed TikTok and streaming his video game sessions. His enthusiasm and quick sense of humor touched everyone he met. His idea of a prank was buying the food of the person behind him.

Mark leaves behind not only his immediate family but also a circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. May Mark rest in peace, and may his love and kindness never be forgotten.

A private memorial service will be held with immediate family.
