Mrs. Margie Ann Bragg- Poole, affectionately known as 'Wee-Baby', passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016.Margie was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Robert and Della Bragg. She attended Indianapolis Public Schools and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School.Margie was united in holy matrimony in 1965 to Phillip Poole, Sr., who preceded her in death. To this union, four children were born. Margie accepted Christ at a young age and joined Bethany Temple Church where she was baptized. She later became a member of St. John AME Church.Margie was employed by the Children's Bureau Family Support Center as the head cook for 15 years, after which she went to work for the Salvation Army as a cook, where she retired after five years of service.Margie loved her family. She enjoyed organizing family gatherings and cookouts and her love for cooking, baking, sewing and interior decorated played a major role in her life. She shared her culinary skills not only with her family, but with the church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.Mrs. Margie Ann Bragg-Poole leaves to cherish her loving memory three daughters; Lisa Poole, Marsha Poole, and Machelle Poole Abdullah (Bilal); one son, Eric Poole; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two sisters Valerie Bragg and Gloria Karen Bragg, one god-sister, Charlotte Simms, one brother, Don Bragg and a host of other family and friends.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3rd from 10am until 12 Noon at St. John AME Church 1669 Columbia Ave. Funeral service will follow at 12 Noon.Interment will be in New Crown Cemetery.
