Linda Louise Barnett-Roy

Was born September 6, 1960, in Indianapolis, In. She was the first born of Chorsia (Charlie) deceased and Willa Mae Day. She was a graduate of North Central High School and continued her education at IU Bloomington. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy where she was born again at an early age. She later became a member of Calvery Temple where she sang in the choir. Linda was the life of the party; her laugh was contagious. She enjoyed family outings, especially with her grandchildren. She had a special relationship with each one of them. She also enjoyed music, singing and shopping.

Linda was a supervisor for the state in Family services for many years. She loved her coworkers and was still enjoying outings with coworkers after leaving her position for the state.

She was married to LeMar Barnett 32 years before his passing. From their union came 2 sons Jerome and Keith. After LeMar’s passing she later met and married husband Edward Roy.

Linda went to be with the Lord on January 25^th and leaves to cherish her memory husband Edward Roy. two sons Jerome (Mariam) Barnett, Keith (Kim) Barnett, Mother Willa Mae Day, two sisters Vicky Day, Denise Day, one brother Dennis (Rhonda) Day. Ten grandchildren Melaughn, Malachi, Sir Braden, Janiyah, Isaiah, Hezekiah, N’sira, Keinan, Elijah and Tobias, one great grandchild, three stepchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
