Leslie "Popcorn" Greene

Leslie M. Greene was born in Kansas City, Kansas on November 13, 1959 to the union of Robert E. Greene and Katherine (Bowins) Greene.

She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Indiana becoming a basketball alumni. Basketball was Leslie’s favorite sport since she was a child and was given the notorious nickname “Popcorn” due to her undeniable skills.

Leslie was an active member in her community; she was employed by Allegion and coached boys and girls of all ages at her local gym.

She was a loving mother to her Dobermans Raziq and Rizah. Leslie cared for anyone that needed love and support and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Leslie “Popcorn” Greene departed this life on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. She joins her mother, Katherine (Bowins) Greene; brother, Eric Greene; and lifetime partner, Beverly Tyler;

She leaves to cherish her memory to her father, Robert Greene; brothers, Robert Greene Jr. and Michael Greene; sister, Stacy Greene; a host of nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
