Leola M. Taylor

Mrs. Leola Marie Miller Taylor, was born inIndianapolis, Indiana on July 13, 1933 to Bessie Miller and Leo Tillis. Sheattended schools #4, #17, and Crispus Attucks High school. Professing a hope inChrist, she joined The Seventh St. Baptist Church, Later years attendingBreeding Tabernacle, and then joining Phillips Temple CME. In her spirituallife, she joined an all girl gospel group known as the 'Keys of Harmony.' Witha zest for law, she became a special order of police officer, under thedirection of Captain Shaw. Leola Known as 'Lee' and 'dimples,' departed thislife January 11^th, at 7: 30 a.m. at the age of 83 years and 5months. She leaves to mourn her passing;Husband Robert B. Taylor, Daughters Mrs. Deborah Walker, Ms. Marilyn Patrick,Mrs. Nellie E. Montgomery, Mrs. Vera (Dennis) Gibson, Ms. keita L. Taylor, and Mrs.Tina (Elbert) Wilhite. Sons: Mr. Keith (Etola) Taylor, Mr. Eric Taylor, and predeceasedMr. David Taylor; 16 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great GreatGrand Children and a host of other relatives and friends.
