Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 1, 1951; to the union of Thomas
Bostick and Willa Mae Bostick. Kenneth attended Indianapolis Public Schools,
and he attended Harry E. Wood High School until the 12th grade. Kenneth
was employed at Schuman Scrape and Metal Company as a laborer for many
years. When the Company changed direction, he moved his employment to
Castle Scrape & Metal Company. His last employer was Omni Source where he
was also as a laborer. Kenneth was a hard worker and a good and faithful
employee. Kenneth loved the Lord, and attended church faithfully. He was a
member of One Love Full Gospel Church, where he became an Ordained
Deacon. Kenneth was such a friendly person. He never met a stranger, and
would he would have a conversation with anybody. He loved to spend time
with family and friends. He loved to dance and would try… to sing. But now,
Kenneth has a new dance and a new song, because on Tuesday October 13,
2020, the Lord saw fit to call Kenneth home to his final resting place.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his birth parents and his foster parents,
brother Jerome Bostick, sister Annetta Harper, 4 foster brothers and 3 foster
sisters.
Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory son Kenneth D. Harper, brothers Gary
Harper, Thomas Bostick and Kenneth Williams; sisters Odenna Mae Bostick,
RoseMary Bostick, Louise Washington, JoAnn Kilpatrick and Ruby Green.
Along with a host of nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.
