Judith Ann Lynn (Pope) Tyler was born July 30, 1960 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Lavonia Pope and Willie Thomas Pope.
She received her education at Indianapolis Public School #87 George Washington Carver and graduated from Arsenal Tech High School.
Judith accepted Christ as the head of her life at an early age. She was a current member of Ravenbrook widow Baptist Church.
She was employed with the St. Vincent Medical Group, formerly The Care Group Cardiology, for over 10 years.
Judith was great mother and outstanding supporter of her family and friends. She also loved going to movies, watching or playing tennis, hanging out with childhood friends and attending church. She loved going to the zoo and had a love for all big cats like lions. She loved listening to the music of Kenny G.
On December 9, 2018, Judith Tyler departed her life. She will always hold a special place in the hearts of those that knew and loved her. Once she knew you, you had a friend and prayer partner for life. She always wanted to help out and be there for someone. To the point that of all her children's' friends called her Momma or Ms. Judy.
Judith was preceded in death by her mother, Lavonia Pope; father, Willie Thomas Pope; and sisters: Carmine McCoy, Eleanor Montgomery and Aliss 'Dimple' Bates.
She leaves to cherish her memory to her loving daughters, Shaunta Hughes and Michelle Tyler; son, David Pope; sister, Desiree Taylor; brother, Thomas Pope; daughter-in-law, Keri Jones; grandchildren: Donell Hines Jr., Mari Hughes and Zoey Pope; a host of nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
