Mr. John H. Bennett, age 78 passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016.John was born on June 6, 1937 in Scottville, Kentucky. He was employed at Kroger for 10 years as a meat cutter, and was later employed by Safeway.John was a member of Guys and Dolls Social Club.He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Cynthia Bennett (Charles) Butler, 5 grandchildren, Quinyel French Tashell Toby, Terrell Preston, Aaron Bennett, Jr. and Kayla Bennett; 13 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kim Bennett; 1 brother, Gary Allen Bennett; 2 sister, Frances Ann Dorris and Rheola Payne King, other relatives and friends.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21st from 11am until 12 Noon at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals, LBJ Chapel 5811 East 38th Street.Funeral service will follow at Noon.
