Jimmie Lee 'Butter Man' Farrow

Jimmie Lee Farrow (affectionately called Butterman) was born on December 28, 1954 in Inverness, Mississippi to Jimmie and Gertrude Elmore. He moved to Indianapolis, Indiana and attended public schools graduating from Crispus Attucks High School.

Jimmie Lee professed a hope in Christ at an early age was baptized and followed the teachings of Jesus.
Jimmie Lee loved his family and friends. He enjoyed working on cars and cooking. He was always the life of the party. He loved making people laugh with his sarcastic ways. Other favorite things were watching sports and old western movies.
Jimmie Lee departed this life on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the age of 63. He was preceded in death by his parents Jimmie and Gertrude Elmore, 3 sisters; Barbara and Elvirina Elmore, and Essie Mae Binion.
Jimmie Lee leaves to cherish his memory: 2 daughters, Tangela Boyd and Rashaana Farrow, 1 son, Mark Huggins, Sr., 4 grandchildren; Ariel and Airrion Boyd, Jailyn Johnson and Mark Huggins, Jr., 3 brothers; Keith, Kenneth, and Kenny Elmore, one sister; Monique Johnson. And a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A Visitation was held at True Belief Missionary Baptist Church 4829 East 38th Street Indianapolis IN 46218 at 11:00:00 AM on 12/1/2018.
