Jewell Ann 'Rudy' Hanna

Jewell Ann 'Rudy' Hanna, age 55, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016.'Rudy' was born in Indianapolis to George and Hannah Poindexter. She received her education in the Indianapolis Public Schools, graduating from Arlington High School.In 1985 Rudy and Mark Peyton committed to building and raising a family and together raised 3 sons. Performing, playing music, singing and dancing brought her joy, but her sons and grandchildren were her world. She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Hannah Poindexter; 3 sons, Corey L. Spurlock, Sr., twins, Johnathan D. Peyton and Joshua J. Peyton (Loren); siblings, twin brother Gerald A. Hubbard and sister, Leslie V. Smith; brother, Gerry Poindexter (Betty) and sister, Terry Taylor; grandchildren, Corey L. Spurlock, Jr., Koriya Spurlock and De'Mya Spurlock and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 6th at 3pm in the LBJ Chapel at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals, 5811 East 38th Street.
