Jeanetta Pearl Twyman Cole was born on September 2, 1934 in Barren County, Kentucky to the union of Clara Bell and John Allen Twyman. She was one of eight siblings.
‘Pearl’, as she was affectionately called, attended school in Glasgow, Kentucky; she accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age.
Pearl later moved to Dayton, Ohio where she resided for 50 years. She then joined McKinley United Methodist Church, there she met and married Robert Cole.
Pearl became a licensed beautician in 1965 and perfected her craft.
Pearl relocated to Indianapolis in 2011 where she resided until her passing. She loved spending her leisure time visiting with neighbors, enjoying family outings/cookouts and going to the casino (she absolutely loved going to the casino).
Jeanetta Pearl Cole (Aunt Pearl), transitioned peacefully and gained her wings on May 4, 2024 at the age of 89 years old. SHE WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AND LOVED BY HER FAMILY.
Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cole; parents, John Allen and Clara Bell Twyman; sisters, Mary Agnes Miller and Patricia Ann Davis; brothers, Charles Leroy and Dalton Buford Twyman; brother-in-law, Charles Miller; nieces, Annette Twyman and Emma Goldsmith; nephews, Norman Twyman and Larry Miller; and her special friend, Ruby Shipley.
Pearl leaves to cherish her memory: sisters, Faye Davidson and Verna Twyman; Godson, Carlos Shipley (Regina) and his siblings Dr. George Shipley (Sandy) and Rosie Marie Owens; and a host of nieces, nephews loving family and friends.
