James Lewis Brown Sr., the son of Joe Brown Jr. and Sadie Payne, was born September 12, 1963 in Phenix City, Alabama.
He eventually moved to Indianapolis, where he made his home. After college he joined the United States Navy and served his country for 15 years. James went into the printing industry after being Honorably discharged from the military, and printing became his career.
James enjoyed watching the history channel, a variety of sports, the travel channel and the news. He was a very quiet and intelligent man. If you did not see him, you would not know that he was present. James loved to travel and explore the world. The one thing that filled his heart with joy the most was spending time with his grandchildren.
James Lewis Brown Sr. departed this life on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. His father, Joe Brown Jr. preceded him in death.
He touched so many lives and he will be remembered by so many people.
