James Deloney "Man" Jr.

James Deloney Jr., the youngest son of Margaret Marie Deloney and James Deloney Sr., was born July 6, 1965 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

“Man”, as he was affectionately called, received his education in the Indianapolis Public Schools and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School.

He worked various jobs in his younger years.  James later became an auto mechanic for 38 years as he loved to work on cars and motorcycles for friends and family.

On August 28, 1987 James was united in marriage with Michelle Ann Jennings and to this union twin sons and a daughter was born; they separated in 2010.

He loved to relax, crack jokes, watch western movies and he listened to any kind of music; but his favorite was oldies and country music.  James loved to laugh and eat. He also loved being around family, especially his granddaughters. He will be remembered by his goofy sense of humor and his love for pizza.

On Sunday, January 10, 2021, Mr. James Deloney Jr. went from terminal illness to peaceful rest surrounded by his loved ones. His parents preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his children: James William Deloney, John Gregory Deloney and Danielle Deloney; granddaughters, Malaun Lorel Deloney and Jazzlynn Marie Deloney-Reynolds; wife, Michelle Ann Deloney; sisters, Cynthia Bilbro and Marchelle Deloney; niece, Angel Duff; nephew, Terry Bilbro; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
