Isaih Joseph 'Ike' Wright

Mr. Isaih Joseph Wright 'Ike' passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016.'Ike' was born in Forest, Mississippi to the union of Alonzo and Mary Francis Wright. He received his education at Arsenal Technical High School. He was reared in a Christian home and received Christ as his personal Savior. 'Ike' was well liked and had a smile that would light up a room. He enjoyed life, family and friends. He loved to fish, play cards, listen to and sing 'James Brown!'In his earlier days, he worked at Chrysler Corporation, and did Construction work.Isaih Joseph Wright leaves to cherish his memory his lovely, devoted wife Teresa Wright; his sons, Joseph Mansfied, Teon (Nita) Witherspoon; Micheal (Opal) Wright; Isaac (Lashanda) North, his daughters, Tiree (Juan) Members; Makeitta North; four sisters, Willa Maude (Charlie) Day; Elizabeth Johnson; Deloie Brown; and Cora Gray, 25 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, cousins , other extended family and many friends.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23rd from 10 am until service time of 12 noon at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals, 5811 E. 38th Street. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
