Mrs. Idener (Frierson) Beasley, age 101 passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016.Idener was born in Columbia, Tennessee on September 23, 1914 to the late Joe and Lillie Brown Frierson. She was married to Willie Beasley on September 24, 1933 and from that union they were blessed with one daughter, Beatrice I. Bailey, aka 'Babe'.Idener was employed at Child Care Service as a cook for 25 years before retiring in September 1978. Idener was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Columbia, TN and even after moving to Indianapolis to care for her daughter, maintained her membership with the church until God called her home.Idener, known by most as 'Ladymomma''s greatest joy was serving and sharing Jesus Christ with others. She loved her family and talking to people. She never met a stranger.Mrs. Idener (Frierson) Beasley leaves to cherish her legacy and precious memories: daughter, Beatrice I. Bailey of Indianapolis, grandchildren: Tony Bailey, Sr., Shawn Bailey, Dion (Deloris) Muhammad, Desiree Vaughn: 8 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren; 2 sister-in-laws, Pearlie 'Viola' Hardison of Millington, TN and Annie M. Frierson, Columbia, TN and host of other loving family members and many friends.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 07, 2016 from 10am until 12 Noon at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church 312 E. 8th Street in Columbia, Tennessee where the pastor is Rev. Anthony Smith, Sr. Funeral service will follow at 12 Noon with Eulogy by Rev. Kenny L. Anderson, Sr. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery in Columbia, TN.
