Gregory Roger Swanigan Jr.

Mr. Gregory Roger Swanigan, Jr., 'Goo', age 43, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016.

Gregory, the son of Gregory R. Swanigan, Sr. and Augustine Swanigan, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 22, 1972. He attended Perry Meridian High School.

Greg confessed his faith in Christ and grew up at Grace Apostolic Church under Bishop Morris E. Golder. Greg had been employed at Kroger in Production for over a year.

In his leisure time 'Goo' as he was affectionately called by family and friends, enjoyed taking care of his dogs. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, Mandy McGinnis Swanigan and their children; Dante', Jalen, Greg III., son; Steven Owens and daughter; Ciya Dalton (Nathan), Novalee Ulery; parents, Gregory R. Swanigan, Sr. and Augustine Swanigan; sister, Tanaca Swanigan; a host of nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.

Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 9am until 11am at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals, 5811 E. 38th Street. Funeral service will follow at 11am. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
