George Rodney Hill

Mr. George Rodney Hill, age 63, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016. George was born in Dallas, Texas to Evelyn Washington Hill and Ray Lee Hill. He received his education there in the Dallas Public School System. He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. He married Katie Mae Goodman Hill on November 30, 2003. He is the father of three daughters; Ty, Teya and Tamara, and one son, George R. Hill, Jr. (who preceded him in death), 4 step-daughters, Kalela, Bre, Terri and Nicole Hill and one step-son, Earl, Jr. George was a truck driver for over 30 years. He will loved, cherished and remembered by his children, his siblings; Steven Ray, Phillip and Aundra (Ronnie) and his grandchildren; as well as his many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.

Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27th from 10am until service time of 12 noon at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals, 5811 E. 38th Street-Interment will be in New Crown Cemetery.
