George C. Johnson

Mr. George Curtis Johnson, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015.'Curtis' was the youngest of three children, born in Indianapolis, IN. He attended IPS elementary school and Attucks High School. He confessed a hope in Christ as a child and remained a strong believer in Christ. He was known for being a fashionable dresser and loved Cadillacs. He worked for the City of Indianapolis and drove a school bus for various schools. He also owned a dump truck in his early years. 'Curtis' was a loving and caring person and always remained in contact with his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Diana Johnson Davis & Annissa Harris, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and special friends, Virginia Harris and Margaret Williams.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30th from 10am until 12 Noon at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals 5811 East 38th Street. Funeral service will follow at Noon. Interment will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
