Frederick (Ricky) Tyrone Robinson Jr., the firstborn of Frederick Tyrone Robinson Sr. and Deborah Ann Robinson, was born on December 3, 1970, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Indianapolis Public Schools.
Ricky professed a hope in Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Dr. Hoy Thurman at Second Baptist Church.
Ricky departed this life on December 1, 2020, at 49 years, 11 months, and 28 days. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Tyrone Robinson, Sr.
Ricky worked in the hospitality industry during his journey here on earth and his love for cooking began at an early age. He loved to cook “5 course meals” … especially late at night! He also loved unsolved mystery shows and movies and was an avid lover of The Washington Football Team, aka the “Redskins”. Ricky also loved reading newspapers to stay current on worldly events and he also enjoyed spending time with his brothers and consistently reminded them how much he loved them. Ricky loved the song “Change the World” by Eric Clapton and his favorite saying was, “it’s not a BIG deal.”
Ricky was a gentle soul and will be sadly missed. He will be forever cherished in memory by his mother, Deborah Ann Robinson; daughter Lyric Warren; three grandchildren Kingston, Khloe, and Brooklyn; three brothers, Darryle E. Robinson (Bridgette), Jason Robinson, Jayme Robinson (Kristy); two nieces, Janiah, and Taylor, one nephew Darryle; and a host of dear and loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.
