Eva Jean Taylor was born July 16, 1941 to Wesley & Martha Bell Taylor in Holly Bluff Mississippi. She is the 8th child of 17 children, 10 have preceded her in death and 6 are still living. They include Albert Taylor, Essie Wells, Edgar Taylor, Ann Woodard, Linda Stuckey, and Betty Taylor

Eva graduated Humphrey County School in Louise, Mississippi. She later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where she would work for RCA Corporation, then Wishard Memorial Hospital. She would finally retire after working over 20 years at Central State Hospital.

Eva was very proud to have lived the last 52 years of her life being a dedicated, baptized Jehovah’s Witnesses where she faithfully served Jehovah. 

Eva enjoyed her shopping trips and everyone who knew her also knew she loved taking care of and growing her plants. But most of all, how she cherished and loved her children.

Eva was married to Vernon LeSure Sr who preceded her in death in May 4, 1990. And she would later marry Harold Leonard who also preceded her in death in Mar 9, 2007. 

Eva at the age of 83, leaves her memory to be cherished by her 6 children Patricia (Michael) Bell Sr, Jennifer LeSure, Calvin LeSure, Michelle (Willie) White, Cathy LeSure, and Vernon (Channel) LeSure Jr along with 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
