Mrs. Eunice Larissa Turner (Baskerville), age 45, passed away on Sunday, May 01, 2016.Eunice was born to James Baskerville and Joyce A. Shortz-Baskerville in Richmond, Virginia.Eunice, more lovingly known as 'Duck', was fearless and was loved by her family.She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age, and was baptized at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Chase City, Virginia. Her family moved to Indianapolis in 1981 and they joined Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.'Duck' graduated from Northwest High School and married Lamont Turner, Sr. and had three lovely boys. She was known as a survivor after being in a house fire in 2003. That never stopped her from participating in any activities.She enjoyed spending time with her boys, going on short trips and participating in activities at Bloom Assisted Living, where she resided. She loved comedy, sharing many conversations over the phone, old school music and enjoyed her hobby of collecting Betty Boop items. She lifted rooms with her presence because of her big personality, beautiful heart, amazing spirit, her lovely smile, and contagious laugh.Eunice leaves to cherish her memories; son, Landon D. Turnder; mother, Joyce Baskerville; brother, James Stephens; 2 aunts, Virginia Nelson (Louis) of Goose Creek, SC and Mary L. Golden (Willie), 3 nieces, 1 nephew; her best friend, Jakarta McBrady and a host of other family and friends.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 11am until 1pm at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals - LBJ Chapel, 5811 E. 38th Street. Funeral service will follow at 1pm. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
