Eddie Jerrand 'Uncle Ej' Jackson

Mr. Eddie Jerrand ' Uncle EJ'Jackson, age 87, passed away on Friday, January 01, 2016.Eddie received his education in Gibson County, Tennessee. He was united in matrimony to Sarah Elizabeth Maddox on June 27, 1969. His work history consisted of a mason worker and as a finisher in construction at O'Reith and Reilly. He also worked at E.V. Brown Furniture Company.In 1972 Eddie began working at Veteran's Administration as an Exterminator, retiring in 1995 and later became a house painter. He served in the US Army as a medic in the Korean War, and was a faithful volunteer worker for the Mozell Sanders Thanksgiving meals for about 20 years.Eddie attended Emmaus Christian Church and Progressive Baptist Church.Family and Friends Visitation,Wednesday, January 13, 2016 9am until service time of 11am at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals, 5811 E. 38th Street-Interment-Crown Hill Cemetery
