Druscilla (Gamill) Daniels

Druscilla “Mother” Daniels was born in Belzoni, Mississippi to Johnny and Annette Gamill on April 11, 1967.

She received her education in Indianapolis, Indiana at Perry Meridian High School. Since 2011, Druscilla was a devoted and faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church.

On June 12, 1993, Druscilla was united in Holy Matrimony to Kenneth W. Daniels Jr. in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Druscilla was self-employed. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, decorating and drawing. She was very family oriented. Druscilla truly lived life to the fullest, chatting with friends and family and spending time with her grandchildren. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

Mrs. Druscilla “Mother” Daniels passed away peacefully at the age of 52 on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Indiana University Health-Methodist Hospital. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny D. Gamill and Edward R. Gamill.

Druscilla is survived by her husband, Kenneth W. Daniels Jr.; sons, Christopher H. Lloyd and Corwin J. Lloyd; stepchildren, LaShawn, Kenneth III and Shawn; ten grandchildren; father, Johnny; mother, Annette; sisters, Terri L. Jones (Billy), Gerlyn Jenkins (Calvin) and Regina J. Gamill; brother, Alex Gamill (Carolyn); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whose lives Druscilla touched.
