Dorothy Daisy Mae Pack-Lewis

Dorothy Daisy Mae Pack-Lewis was born to proud parents, Earnest and Venus Pack on March 7,1948 in Gary, Indiana.

Dorothy received her primary education from Gary Public Schools.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Clark Road Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Pharis Evans Sr. and the “Radio Choir” until she moved to Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dorothy pursued a career in housekeeping working for Wishard Hospital and American Senior Nursing Home.

“Boo-Boo” or “Auntie Dorothy”, as she was lovingly called, loved going to the casino, did not mind telling you like it was and would give you a piece of her mind with no problem (lol).

Dorothy Daisy Mae Pack-Lewis departed this life on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the age of 73 years. Her parents, Earnest and Venus Pack; and sister, Iretta Pack preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Paul Lewis (Nicole); son/nephew, Reginald Pack; granddaughter, Nia Lewis; grandson, William Taylor III; great-granddaughter, Willoe Taylor; five sisters: Jeannette Pack of Cincinnati, OH; Augustine Yancey-Gault of Gary, IN; Jearline Jones-Love (Rick) of Texas; Annie Childs and Mary Childs; one brother, Curtis Childs of Amory, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; loving family and friends.
