Doris E. Cabarris

On October 6, 1941, God consummated a loan of a baby girl to her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Cabarris. They named her Doris. She continued to grow and have a productive life. What was some of the benefits of that Loan made sixty-six years ago? Love, Caring, Understanding, Patience, Loyalty, Humility, and a Richer, Fuller life for those who knew and loved her.God decided to claim His own Himself. At 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2008, the sun set on the life of Doris E. Cabarris. The summons went forth and the Lord dispatched an Angel to Hooverwood Jewish Home of Indianapolis to collect the Soul of His child. She leaves to cherish her memories, two children, Kermin Lewis Cabarris of Clearwater, Florida and Marvious M. Cabarris-Peoples (Erman) of Indianapolis, Indiana; four sisters, Carol F. Calvin of Indianapolis,. Shirley E. Harris of Reddick, Florida, Doretha E. Cabarris of Largo, Florida and Audrey Green of Largo, Florida; three brothers, Arnold Charles Cabarris of Indianapolis, Odell Green, Jr. of Largo, Florida and Ronnie Green of Largo, Florida; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four aunts; two uncles and host of other relatives and friends.
