Donald C. Howard

Donald C. Howard, Sr. departed this life at age 68 on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. He worked approximately 32 years for Consumers Feed Store, selling feed, seeds, and garden supplies. He was affectionately called 'The Seed Man' because he knew how to grow a good garden.He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 46 yrs., Santha Howard; 1 son, Donald C. Howard, Jr., (Zsa Zsa); 6 grandchildren, Genesis Howard, Aalysha Howard, Nyema Putman, Noah Spiller, Rheonia Jackson, Rico Jackson, Jr.; 1 sister, Louise Webb and quite a few nieces and nephews. Family and friends Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 10am until 12 noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 3500 Graceland Ave. Funeral service will follow the visitation at Noon. Interment will be in Sutherland Park Cemetery.
