With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Delores Hamler-Brown, a beacon of light in the lives of many.
Delores was born to Margaret Hamler on May 23, 1942 in Alexander, Illinois. She touched the hearts of all who crossed her path. Delores was more than just a beloved family member and friend as her love knew no bounds, and she poured her heart and soul into every relationship she cultivated.
Her passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew her, but her memory will forever be cherished. Delores’ legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched, the memories she created, and the love she shared. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her memories will always be remembered by her many cousins and friends. Delores will be dearly missed.
Delores passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and unwavering strength. Her mother, Margaret Hamler; uncles: Oatha Hamler, Emmanuel Hamler and Dorsey Hamler; aunts, Edgie Hamler and Mary Hamler all preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory to her aunt, Velma Hamler; cousins, Toni Ann Martin and Princess Hamler; a host of loving relatives and friends.
With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21; 3-4 (New World Translation)
