David Joseph Walker Sr., was born on August 17, 1951, to Alexander and Ella Nora Walker in Indianapolis, IN. 

 David received his education in the IPS school district where he attended Arsenal Technical High School.

 David was united in holy matrimony to Diane Coffee Walker, where this union was blessed with two daughters, Cherie Walker and Terri Redeemar. Later in life David and Wanda Easley were blessed with a son, David Walker Jr.

 David was employed at Herff Jones for 25 years. He was employed at Lawrence Township for 20 years from where he retired. He was employed with Walmart for 5 years and after his retirement, he was employed at Menards for 7 years.

 David loved his family and friends. He was always attending get together and he also enjoyed playing card games with his siblings and friends.

 David was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Ella Walker, his daughter, Terri Redeemar, 2 brothers, Charles and William Walker, and 1 sister, Patricia Jean Morris.

 David peacefully transitioned from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Thursday, August 22, 2024, just 5 days after his 73rd Birthday. 

 David leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Cherie Walker, his son, David Walker Jr (Andrea), his bonus daughters Brandy Lewis, Tasha and Octavia Cunningham, his bonus son, Darrell Gordon, 3 brothers, Virgil (Denice), Neal (Libby), and Randy(Cheryl), his 6 sisters, Doris Duff, Carol Dumes (Charles), Donna Walker, Lenora (William) Powell, Joann Walker, and Janice Bruen, 10 grandchildren 3 bonus grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
