DARRELL LAMARR PRICE, son of Henry David Price and Joanne Patricia Price, was born January 1, 1963, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
DARRELL received his elementary education at Indianapolis Public Schools #37 and #58. He attended Arsenal Technical High School and later decided to receive his GED. After receiving his GED, Darrell joined the UNITED STATES MARINE CORP. He served our country from 1980 - 1984 with tours in Okinawa, Japan; Diego, Garcia; Camp Pendleton, CA; and the Marine Barracks Naval Weapons Station in Charleston, South Carolina. While being a Marine, Darrell enjoyed traveling, living abroad, friendships and camaraderie.
DARRELL was employed with Wishard Hospital and the Special Prosecutor's Office, as a Security Guard, as well as other various jobs. For fun, he was an avid bowler, which he picked up from his father Henry. He bowled on several leagues at Hindel Bowl and All-Star Bowl, throughout the years. He also loved to fish, which he enjoyed doing with his brothers David and Keith. He enjoyed gatherings with his children, grandchildren and other family members. He would have everyone laughing, with his jokes, infectious laugh and million dollar smile. Darrell recently became a new member at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorage of Rev. Fitzhugh Lee Lyons, Jr. In December, he volunteered with other church members and helped distribute essential items to the community, which he enjoyed being a part of.
