Darrell 'D.R.' Robertson

Mr. Darrell Robertson, age 58, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016. Darrell was born to James R. Robertson and Fannie Mae Robertson in Indianapolis, IN.He attended IPS #27 and Thomas Carr Howe High School. He later became employed as a cook at Cozy Restaurant. Darrell was a frequent visitor at New Haven Missionary Baptist Church.He enjoyed good old school music, playing cards, dominos, dancing, watching sports and dressing sharp. He loved showing affection to family and friends....that was 'D.R.'Darrell leaves to cherish his memory: son, Darrell Vardiaman, Jr; grandchildren, Dyesha and Darrell, Jr.; sisters, Janice F. Scott, Sherry Robertson, Towanda (Howard) Means and Sheila (Samuel) Springfield; brothers, Jeffery (Melissa) Robertson, Phillip (Charcee) Robertson , Johnny Parker; special cousins, Letha Kennedy; Larry Kennedy and Rachel Love of Milwaukee, WI; aunt Georgia Mae and many other family members and friends who will love and cherish his memory forever in their hearts.Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1st from 10am until service time of 12 noon at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals, 5811 E. 38th Street.
